Guru Siyag Siddha Yoga-At a Glance

Guru Siyag Siddha Yoga (Meditation Method)-At a Glance

Guru Siyag’s Siddha Yoga

  • Guru Siyag’s Siddha Yoga (GSSY) is a purely meditation-based yoga.
  • The practice of GSSY awakens  the Kundalini.
  • The Kundalini is a female energy force that lies dormant at the base of the spinal column in every human body.
  • Awakening of the Kundalini through GSSY brings about three major benefits: Healing or curing of physical diseases and freedom from addiction and stress.

How are diseases healed or cured by GSSY?

  • When the Kundalini awakens, it rises along the spinal column.
  •  As it rises, it clears all blockages that lie its path.
  •  This can be understood with an example from our daily life: When water is sprayed on the floor with a great force, it clears all the garbage that lies in its path.
  • In the same way, the Kundalini too clears all the blockages in its path such as Cancer, AIDS, Arthritis etc.

Freedom from Addiction

  • Addictions too are a kind of blockage that prevent the practitioner from progressing on his spiritual journey.
  • In GSSY, unlike other forms of yoga, you don’t have to give up using the substance, the substance will give you up.
  • GSSY goes to the root of the problem by destroying the desire to consume a substance.
  • Practitioner does not experience any withdrawal symptoms.

Freedom from Stress

  • 80 per cent of diseases afflicting the human body are caused by stress.
  • GSSY heightens the practitioner’s intuition and gives him knowledge of future events.
  • This way the practitioner is prepared for various changes in his life.
  • It also gives him knowledge of existence and the purpose of life.

Signs of the Awakened Kundalini

  • When the Kundalini awakens, the practitioner experiences involuntary body movements known as Kriyas.
  • The kriyas are in the form of aasan, bandh (locks) or pranayam (breathing exercises). The practioner may also experience increase in body heat, shivering, shaking or may see lights or colors.

Only that part of the body experiences kriya which is ailing.

For instance if your shoulder hurts, only the shoulder will experience kriyas and through these will be healed.

Kriyas occur only during meditation.

Difference Between Siddha Yoga and Other Kinds of Yoga

  • Guru Siyag’s Siddha Yoga(GSSY) is ALWAYS free of charge.
  • In other yogas all exercise are done willfully through a classroom approach – The instructor performs and everyone follows.
  • In GSSY all yogic postures like bandh, aasan,  pranayam, khechri-mudra etc occur due to the awakening of the Kundalini.
  • In GSSY the practitioner does not need to change his lifestyle or diet in anyway.
  • The practitioner does not have to go for repeat sessions to Guru Siyag or any center.
